I currently have two sticks of 512MB that I would like to run DC with. I've tested the two sticks on the A7N8X and it ran fine with no problems on DC setup. These sticks are the Kingston ValueRAM that have the Hynix chipsets used on many Corsair XMS and HyperX series. So, would it run since it ran on other Nforce 2 boards?

I've heard that Kingston memory (ValueRam and HyperX both) have issues with Abit NF2 boards. I'm not sure why though. I do know that I couldn't run ValueRam on my Epox 8RDA+. It was a complete no go. :(

I have run several sticks of kingston value ram and had no problems. I did also try the HyperX ram once and had nothing but problems. My summay: Value Ram OK, HyperX Not OK.

Uh oh......seems like I would need more feedback before I get that board. I've already gotten the Hynix RAM. Don't want to get a board with problems. :(

I've had some VRAM promlems with my NF7-S, but after one or two RMAs I got a stick that could do 380 (from 333).

I currently have the ABIT NF7-S v2 motherboard and I'm using PNY RAM. The system boots and runs fine, but when I play games I get BSOD's. I have tried many other solutions and nothing works, so I have come to the conclusion that it's the RAM. I just ordered some OCZ RAM. I heard ABIT and OCZ RAM work good together.
