I bought this board GA-EP35C-DS3R Rev 2.1 and a Corsair CM2X1024-6400 2GB Kit. I noticed that this model doesnt appear on Gigabyte's "Compatible Memory" list and only the ones with the 6400C4/6400C4 Pro extensions do.
My question is does the board support my modules? I noticed (correct me if i'm wrong) that the only thing different is the timings. And since GB's mobos are known to be picky eaters, I want to be sure.
Specifics:
Timing: 5-5-5-12
The sticks are Ver 5.2
Kinda hard to get specific RAMs where I live and OCZ, HyperX and the like costs more than an arm and a leg here (Very expensive, HyperX costs $200, XMS2 DHX $250). Any advice on the matter is greatly appreciated.
