RAM compatability

I am getting a new board soon, DFI Lanparty NF4 Ultra-D and i am also purchasing a dual channel memory kit and i was wondering if in the future say i wanted to add a 1 gig stick if it would read the dual channel as well as the 1 gig stick in the mobo.

FYI, try general hardware, not OS... (probably get a better answer there)

Wrong forum (this is operating systems, not Motherboards or GH).

I'm pretty sure the A64 can run with unbalanced dual-channel (say, 2x512MB + 1x1GB, or 3x1GB).
