Ram CAS question?

I know what CAS is. (Column address strobe), and I know theres not alot of difference between 2-2-2 and 3-3-3, but what I want to know is what each number stands for, like x-y-z, what does x, y, and z each represent?

Well that's where you're wrong. There's a LARGE dif between 2-2-2 and 3-3-3.

Taz: What do you mean Im wrong, its like a 2-3% speed increase between the two.

CAS Latency = 2
RAS to CAS Delay = 2
Precharge Delay = 2
Then the ram is said to be 222.
