ram affect cpu speed?

i posted something about this before but i thought i'd reword it: 1 ghz amd athlon, ran at 750 changed something got it up to 825, i only have pc100 ram in their, i'm getting pc133 but does that really affect it?

i think i know what you mean....
your mb doesnt allow differnt fsb speeds for the system, and cpu.
so they run at the same mhz...
to get 825, your doing something like 8x103 ??
if you had pc 133 ram, you could do wuteverx 133+
so yes, it would make a difference...
even if your running ur cpu at the same speed, with a higher fsb it would run better
