Ralph - Whale Shark @ the GA Aquarium died

I guess I was lucky to see both the shark and the sick whale when I visited the aquarium this past Spring. They are both dead now.

That's sad.

If anyone who has been to both the ATL and Monterey Bay, CA aquariums will know that the latter is FAR superior. Just like the idiots in ATL to build a multi-million-dollar aquarium that is not only poor on the education side but way too damned commercial. Each exhibit area has some corporate logo next to it, be it Home-Deport or Southern Company, etc. And what about the written/educational descriptions next to each viewing window/water tank? One sentence or two at best. The place is a POS! Go to a real aquarium in Monterey Bay, CA.

If you choose not to tell them much about yourself you can give them an email address like none@none.com, or even more creative addresses (I'll leave that to your imagination).

The sad thing (or the great thing, really) is how many of those are "already assigned to another user"...

Glad some people are willing to protest their demand for demographic data!

the monterey bay aquarium is a really nice place with lots of educational information, but i don't think they have any whale sharks.

Wasn't this the only one in captivity or something?

Reading the article, obviously not. Still Dunno how common it is for aquariums to have whale sharks.
