Story here.
Ralph Nader is from my state, and I grew up when he was slaying real dragons, like unsafe Chevys, etc. One of my closest friends from college worked with him for over twenty years. But ever since Nader has gotten his political itch he has become increasingly irrational and irrelevant.
This is a guy who devoted his entire life to serving the public good (as he saw it) and never once sought to profit off it. The guy has lived a virtual monk's vow of poverty his entire adult life. It's really sad to me where he has ended up, on his own volition.
