Raite DVD drive questions

Computer Geeks has a new drive in their inventory. It is the Raite 8x/40x DVD Player. Here is some info I pulled up.

Anybody know anything about this drive? It seems like it may be a decent deal at <$70 US.

Any of the usual info is appreciated...
does it...
Read CDR media well?
Clone CD compatible?
Is it loud?
etc.

It's not a burner, so why would it be CloneCD compatible.

Just wondering if it would be able to &quot;read&quot; the data properly using clone cd. For making um.... backups.

I was also wondering about this drive but more in the area of Dvd region codes. Does anyone know how the region coding works on this drive and if applicable how to get rid of it?
