I have an existing Raite 8X that has worked very well with my old ASUS SDR and ASUS software DVD player.
I completely uninstalled the ASUS software and used my DVD drive to install my ATI software for my new Radeon 64 VIVO.
I got an error message saying I have NO DVD DRIVE.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the ATI software. Checked Device Manager to make sure the Raite was still recognized by WIN98SE (it was and DMA still checked). I even deleted the DVD-ROM and let Windows recognize it again.
Still no go - "No DVD Player Installed".
Help, please.
