Raising the FSB

How do guys raise their FSB so high? Do their mobo's have adjustments for FSB/PCI ratio? I recently learned this the hard way...my HDD went bezerk and windows got fubar. Is there any way to raise your fsb without other stuff like pci, agp, etc. running to fast? I have the MSI K7T266 Pro2 mobo.

Thanks.

That depends on a lot of things like your mobo and your hard disk. I generally disregard the use of extremelly high FSB speeds because I've been a victim of a corrupted HD many times in the past.

You need a MB with different PCI dividers like the EPoX 8K3A. The board has 1/4, 1/5,and 1/6 dividers that automatically kick in as you increase the FSB. If your MB doesn't shave these other dividers, then you're pretty much out of luck unfortunately.
