Raising Cane's

Yes indeed! Started out next to LSU and been branching out all over Southeast Louisiana lately. I saw one in Houston recently, so the invasion continues...

For those who don't know, they serve only chicken fingers there. But it's consistently fresh and good. And a pretty good dipping sauce too. I think a friend of mine said he found the recipe for the sauce online recently...

They are spreading all over Northern Louisiana as well.

I ate Raisin Cane's probably 3 nights a week my freshman year at LSU. The fries aren't as good as they used to be, and its gone up in price quite a bit.

there's one on ohio state campus and it's spreading around columbus as well.

I like it, but it's expensive.

I like the music they play in the store : P

Same here. I do have to say that the qualityand quantity has gone down and the price has gone up over the last several years. The last few times I eaten there it tastes like the grease is old and the chicken has been dry. I don't so much mind the higher price, I just wish the quality was like it use to be. There is also like a whole weeks serving of MSG in each box. I think that is how people get addicted to it these days and not by the taste.

never even heard of Raising Cane's but sounds good. i love chicken fingers.
of course, PA always gets everything last anyway.

It originated in Baton Rouge only about 10 years ago. When I first moved to Baton Rouge 8 years ago there were only two in existence. It has only been recently that they have been venturing outside of Baton Rouge and into other cities and states.
