I know there are a million RS:V vs GoW threads, but I want to know which one is better on multiplayer.

I play games for multiplayer, I may not even play single player.

Which one is more fun online? I've heard good things about both. How large are the online fanbases? Will I have to wait to join games on XBL?

R6:V is better, more complex.

GoW multiplayer owns R6 Imo.

I like GoW's multiplayer a little more, even though it's simpler.

I think R6 has a better ranking system though. It gives you goals.

Both games have big playerbases. I think it comes down to more realistic modern combat or a little styled shooter flavor. Which do you like more?

I enjoy GoW multiplayer more except for the sniper. It is the worst sniper ever made in a game. Other than that it's excellent. Especially if you get good with the powerful weapons, which are actually rather tough to use.

I personally think that R6 is a heck of a lot more fun than GoW in multiplayer.

I haven't touched GoW since the day R6 came out...

There are a ton more game modes: Attack & Defend, Retrieval, Sharpshooter, Team sharpshooter, Coop terrorist hunt, coop story, survival etc etc etc

I'm very addicted to R6 right now, thinking about cancelling my gamefly subscription until I am interested in playing other games again

Coop mode is much better in GoW, but all the other modes (all 3 of them...) get old rather quickly. R6 is better just because there is so much more to do with the ranking system.

Man does it take forever to rank up I'm just happy that I now have the desert eagle/spas 12. I'll become elite soon hopefully!

Oh and you won't have to wait to play R6 online most of the time. I've got a pretty big friends list of people that I've met that enjoy team work like I do, and as soon as I come online I get several invites to games right away. Once you build up a good friends list for the game you won't have any trouble finding really good matches.

I don't like R6 for one reason: damage output. It's so easy to kill people playing R6 that it isn't really fun. Becuase it's so easy to kill people, many people end up camping a certain area, which really takes the fun out of the game.

In GoW, the action is much more fast paced and the teams are smaller. First of all, it takes considerable damage to down someone in GoW, not to mention kill them. A lot of the action is face to face, and not sniping people from the other side of the map. Secondly, the teams are 4v4, so if you want to win, your entire team has to be there and giving it their all. All in all a much more enjoyable experience.
