I really enjoyed it on PC and beat SP but I did not get a chance to try it online on PC because it was a friends. Now that I got a 360 I was thinking about buying it but for MP only since I usually don't beat a game more than once.

It's definitely good, especially in multiplayer. However, R6:Vegas has been out for almost a year so you might want to pick up Call of Duty 4 (once it comes out next week) instead since it will be the "it" game for MP after Halo 3.

If you can catch it for $20 or $30 somewhere, I'd say it's worth it. It should be due for a universal price drop soon. Amazon Deal of the Day had this for $30 a few months ago.

It's an incredible game. Incredibly realistic and fun, both single player and multiplayer (local or live). I beat it with my last 360 and I am starting the game over again with my new 360.

I'm playing through it the first time now... got it when Gamestop had the buy one get one half off coupon (I think I ended up getting 6 games with that coupon  ). I really like it, but I haven't played multiplayer. Is the multiplayer that you guys are saying is so great co-op or player vs player? The gameplay doesn't strike me as being good for player vs player, because there is SO much emphasis on taking cover.

Play & charge = battery + charging cable. The rechargeable batteries aren't worth it IMO. You're better off getting a set of rechargeable AAs. I only use the MS rechargeable batteries because my Xbox came with one (Costco bundle).

Player vs. player.

It's both. 4 person coop (terrorist hunt or mission). Player vs. player is very well done and has a ton of different gametypes. You still take cover, and it is VERY important in online play. I personally think the cover system was done much better than Gears of War. All this talk is making me want to go play it right now :p

They added quite a few maps and a few more gametypes, and they are all free now as a download off of the marketplace.

edit: I'll emphasize that the 4 person coop is for missions over xbox live. you can only play 2 people splitscreen.

Terrorist hunt you can have huge teams helping out. I think you can go up to 14 people, but i haven't played it in a while so i forget

I'm going back and forth between R6 single player and Halo 3 multiplayer, and I keep having an urge to pull the L trigger to take cover in Halo 3. Fortunately I haven't accidentally thrown any grenades yet.

That's my biggest problem right now. After playing halo 3, I keep pressing the wrong buttons to reload/throw grenades in R6. I keep turning the damn night vision on :p

I just finished the game. I thought it was great.

My only complaints -
- The AI was really smart sometimes (i.e. when I come at them through one door, they'll sometimes go out a different door and come around behind you), but sometimes really dumb (i.e. when they hear gunshots they don't always react unless they know where you are. In one particular instance I was able to pick off 4 guys or so from a distance through a glass wall while the rest of them just stayed in their designated positions waiting for me to kill them - made it a lot easier to disarm that micropulse ;)).
- The checkpoints were often placed immediately after a difficult section such that you had to play through some more mundane parts over and over again while attempting to get through that difficult section.

Great game though, can't wait for the next iteration.

Now you should try Terrorist hunt on the hardest difficulty :) It is much better to play with a friend or with people over xbox live, because it's hard as hell by yourself. You need someone to watch your back.
