Rainbow Six Siege anyone?

Yesterday morning I went onto Amazon and ordered Rainbow Six: Siege. I did this after going to two Walmarts, a Best Buy and Target and even Costco and found not a single copy in the stores. Hmm, conspiracy?

I then went online to Amazon and ordered it, but then noticed after placing it that it was going to be between December 16th and the 21st before delivery. I then wondered when the game was released, and Wiki says December 1st.

OK, is this a hot game or are there a lot of people into this game and bought it like the Xmas crack they wanted so badly?

Yup could be the Christmas shoppers, Black Friday and beginning of December is the worst time to go shopping at local stores if you need to find something. I noticed a few stores where I live hold back item stock in order to avoid price drops (such as that new Keurig 2.0 coffee maker) and then restock them on a single day, toying with supply and demand sometimes. That also could be happening.

They weren't out of stock. They had them locked up in the front of the store and no note for consumers to know this. I asked two people at BB this morning but they were clueless and got a manager, who informed all three of us. Got it and cancelled the Amazon order.

I played the beta and was heavily disappointed. No communication, people didn't use mics. It was attack and defend turned into two-shot kills and horrible camping. The classes weren't interesting either. I was thinking it'd be what I split time with, next to Halo 5. Instead, I had a bit of fun in Terrorist Hunt, but that was it. Battlefront actually surprised me quite a bit, and I won a copy recently, so I'll probably give that a try, when it shows up.

I red boxed it yesterday to play with my friend. It needs more game modes I think, but it is fun. This is a game you need a good group for. If you have that and communication, it would be a lot better.

I would not pay $60 for it unless a few other friends got it too. I am having some fun with it, just needs more stuff to keep it interesting. The AI is pretty good, I'll say that for the terrorist hunt.

I've seen people with a good group play and they made it look great. This is one of those games you have to have a good group of friends for. Playing it alone is a waste of money because you won't get the experience it is trying to put out.

Exactly that. I wanted to like it, but no one I know planned to get it, and it's a turd with strangers. Halo, I can go into by myself well enough, same with most other shooters.

I did have some friends who bought it so I picked it up for ps4 too. Its more fun this way, especially if everyone communicates. We usually play together in a squad with mics so its easy to coordinate who is doing what. I ended up getting it for $40 after some discounts.
