so is this game any good?

i have raven shield and didn't really care for it. I don't really like the tactical fps games too much. my friend got it and he says he really likes it, but he likes the tactical fps games.

is it pretty much the same as raven shield?

i downloaded the demo but don't have time to try it tonight.
 
If you didn't like Raven Shield then you will probably NOT like lockdown. It is really similar.

By the way, if you encounter strange sound issues (and you probably will) there is a fix.
 
actually, i think this is a little better than raven shield. it seems more fast paced, although i can't seem to figure out how to get my squadmates to do anything besides follow me or hold position or go to a certain point. can you even control 1 squadmate at a time to position them in strategic locations?

doesn't seem to be as many guns as raven shield, but maybe thats because its the demo. i also seem to recall that you could continue the mission if the character you controlled died, you just controlled another squadmate instead. with this, if you die the mission is done. i could be thinking of another game though.

i think i'm going to pass on it because the single player gameplay is just too slow and doesn't really appeal to me. the only reason i would end up getting it is to play with the 1 friend i mentioned via lan and that happens maybe once every 2 months or so. thats what happened with SWAT 4. Only play at his place via lan and don't touch it any other time.
