Lol, the sun shone through a break in the clouds for just a second while I was letting my dog out, I haven't seen it in so long my first thought was literally that someone turned on the lights - then I remembered I was outside 0.o

Ugh,more rain,
snow is forecast for elevations over 1,500 feet. :(

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHERN

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
A FLOOD WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR TODAY THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY
AFTERNOON FOR THE EASTERN MOHAWK VALLEY...MID HUDSON
VALLEY...GREATER CAPITAL DISTRICT AND NORTHWEST CONNECTICUT.
PLEASE REFER TO FLOOD STATEMENT FOR THE DETAILS

THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBANY CONTINUES A WINTER STORM
WATCH FOR ELEVATIONS ABOUT 1500 FEET ACROSS THE EASTERN CATSKILLS...
TACONICS...BERKSHIRES AND SOUTHERN GREEN MOUNTAINS FOR THIS
AFTERNOON THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON.

A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM CONTINUES TO DEVELOP NEAR THE MID
ATLANTIC COAST THIS MORNING. THE LOW WILL MOVE SLOWLY NORTHEAST
ALONG THE EASTERN SEABOARD THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT...AND REACH THE
GULF OF MAINE BY WEDNESDAY MORNING. ENOUGH COLD AIR MAY WRAP AROUND

I am in VT and have not seen the sun more than once in the last 20 days. I am ready to kill myself.

I just moved to DC after 3 years in the Caribbean. RAIN AND COOL WEATHER IS AWESOME! Appreciate the seasons and the fact that YOU HAVE weather variations. Trust me - 365 days a year of 90 degrees and sunshine (with the occasional hurricane thrown in for good measure) gets old really quick.

To be honest with you, it took about a year...but the last two years were HELL! :)
