rain..? CPU cooling program

Try Tweakfiles for processor cooling programs. Just click on the processor link on the lefthand side.

And yes, they do work!! My T-bird 800 would idle around 127F, and after using CPUIdle, it would idle around 91F!! Great program to extend the life of your CPU.

I don't use CPUIDLE beacsue it made my CPU Temp higher then it was beofre I used it. I also run a Tbird at 900

dan can you tell me where to get rain 2.0? i can't find the guys who did it anymore (leading wintech) anywhere on the net, or the guys who hosted them (brotherhood of the cpu).

thanks,

~erik

fisher: Send me an e-mail and I'll shoot a copy over to you.

Hi,

In case anyone else is reading this thread and wants to try Rain 2.0, I found a download link here.

jrichrds said it right. Rain 2.0 is useless in NT or W2K, but works nicely in Win9X.

Regards,
Jim
