This is only a deal for those of you who have some 2x140mm fans and zip ties handy to jury rig your own massive cooling solution:

Raijintek Ereboss Black: $34.99 + free shipping

The included fan is not impressive, though it manages to keep the Ereboss fairly close to top-tier dual tower coolers. The Ereboss might do as well as a dual tower with a pair of good 140mm fans strapped to it! For $35, can you really complain if it falls short?

Without the fans, it still cools quite well (probably better than a 212 Evo), but it's kinda noisy too.

edit: A techreport review of the cooler. 5C behind the best Phanteks unit. Not too shabby. It would do much better without that slim 13mm fan.

Not bad! If I was in the market for a good low cost tower cooler, I'd grab this and pop a Yate Loon onto it.

This thing reminds me of the Thermalright Macho.

It does, doesn't? Only I think the Macho and its variants are sold as semi-passive coolers (reliant on case airflow + relatively low fin density). This thing seems to have higher fin density.

Not a bad find. That thing comes with a better stock fan, so if you aren't ready to mod something like the Ereboss, I think the DeepCool Gamer Storm Lucifer would be a better choice.

Good question. The Ereboss has them both beat with that crappy 13mm thick fan. My guess is that the Lucifer is losing cooling potential from low fin density.
