The sidebar looks like a useless gimmick to me and adds extra noise. Since the GTX 260 has a closed cooling design, is the fan blowing on it necessary?

The side fan will probably help temperatures a bit, since it brings in cool air directly on the expansion slots. However, it's definitely not necessary.

Okay, I'll keep it in although it is blocked by the GTX 260. Also, the green LED fan on the side uses screws that have no head, how would I replace the fan?

After playing Far Cry with and without the fan I am definitely keeping it on as it does cool the video card significantly. I noticed a 5 degree drop in temperature on the graphics card and a 1 degree drop on the north bridge.

You could get some anti-vibration strips or something similar if the noise if from the vibration of it, if it's the fan just replace it with a low noise one (granted you may lose some cfm...)

When I first start up my pc, two of the left side fans make ticking noises and the whole computer is loud but shortly after windows loads up its back to normal. The stock fans that came with the case are cheaply made so do you guys think the bearings need time to warm up? Also, ho would I replace the green LED fan as the screws don't have heads.

Case fans:

front-120mm dual ball bearing
right side: 80mm dual ball bearing
back- 120mm stock

(the two below seem to be the cause of the noise)
left side: 80mm LED Green stock
video card cooler- 80mm stock
