I know that this is not the Best of the Best PSUs on the market, but I'm just looking to get by. My power requirements are about 510W. I had been using an Ultra-X connect, which is giving me problems. The memory isn't recognized when the vid card and drives are plugged in. I'm hoping that going up to a 630W will give me a bit more head room....and also allow me to use the custom cables I put in.
Now I know that the modular supplies are not the best...but again, I've already made that decision. I'm just looking for anyone who has more detailed insight into the supply. The reviews (2 of them) look good...but I can't figure out who the OEM is for the supply based on the UL number QQGQ2.E243838 that comes up in the database.
I also wanted to see if there were any horror stories out there that I should be aware of.
