I bought this power supply some time ago and recently when I added another HD and a DVD burner I was having issues. I think it could be the power connectors themselves but I am not sure. I'm also running a soyo dragon with a 1700 xp, another 7200 rpm HD, a dvd slot load drive, and a cdburner. I'm not sure what model this is but if you own it you could tell because its pimp looking...

You're having a problem with the raidmax? or you're thinking of upgrading to the raidmax?

I've used quite a few Raidmax power supplies. Aside for one dead out of the box, I've never had a problem with one.

Certain power connectors don't seem to work, and I am having issues getting all my hardware to recognize, this could be attributed to the fact that some of these drives are faulty. I was wondering if anyone had any problems with this particular RAIDmax in the past.

i've used cheaper raidmax psu's that come with their cases. all of them have developed the same problem where certain connectors stop working after a while, not sure what casues this though.

Yeah, this RAIDmax is def a POS, I tested the connectors and they are reponsible for one of my HDs turning on and off sporadically. I'm never buying another raidmax unless I get fabulous reviews about the specific model.
