Raiders to bench Collins..

I don't think Collins has been bad at all so far. He's 3rd in the NFL in yards, and before the last few games was near the bottom in interceptions thrown. The main problem this year has been the offensive line who never give him any time to throw..and combine this with Collins lack of mobility it's made for a very disappointing year so far.

I do like this move though, Collins is getting old, and this year is pretty much over..might as well look toward to the future and on the side help them move up on the draft.

Matt Leinart comes to mind..hopefully they can turn into the Aaron Rodgers or Dan Marino of this year's draft. I don't think we'd mind Vince Young either.

Think about it though, they're not going to make the playoffs...they might as well see if they have a superstar just sitting on their bench. Give the new kid some play time...just makes sense.

I don't think Collins has been bad either, but I don't see him as a Raider next year. Could be his last year as a starter too.

I'm sure there's a team that will start him. He's still got a good arm, and is extremely durable especially with his size.

It breaks my heart to see the level of talent on that team and their inability to produce wins. I'd love to see Matt Leinart arrive next year, but they would be better off with Vince Young as the offensive line can't contain the defense. Vince can scramble better than Matt. Off season hope: couple of good offensive linemen, a young healthy defensive lineman to take Sapp's place eventually and a new safety or corner. Of course Davis will fvck this all up. Again.
