Very well done. Some of the titling was a little kitschy considering the budget and names of the stars, but it was a good job :^)

Was that a real movie?

No, it's a "what if the movie was made in 1951" fan-made trailer.

Very well done. I thought I recognized part of it and the thread above does point out that it seems to have at least some footage from a couple of actual movies.

But it does show how much better Raiders was because of when it was made, with modern effects, etc.

Good movies that withstand the test of time, have nothing to do with special effects, modern or otherwise.

Hahah. Pure gold, Peter Lorre was the person I thought of to play the German agent too.

Check out the others, they have Ghostbusters with Bob Hope. 😀

Yes, I thought that was Peter Lorre too. And when I saw Raiders for the first time I remember thinking that guy should be played by Peter Lorre.

Doesn't anyone ever read video descriptions these days?

This "premake" is a mash-up of old trailers and clips found all over Youtube. It is not endorsed or connected to Paramount Pictures or Lucasfilm. It was made as a purely technical exercise and for laughs. Here is the recipe:
The 10 Commandments, Prince Valiant, Naked Jungle, Secret of the Incas, Jungle Queen, Zulu, Look to Lockheed for Leadership, Casablanca, The City of Brass, Mr. Moto takes a Vacation, Star in My Crown, A Pain in the Pullman, On Dangerous Ground, Patton, King Solomons Mines, Journey to the Center of the Earth, The Greatest Show on Earth, David and Bathsheba, The Screaming Skull, When You Know, Mysterious Mr. Moto, Lawrence of Arabia, Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, and Superman at Bay.
