We have 5 disks installed in our server, and RAID6A and RAID6B are created on those disks. Both are spread across all 5 disks. It was done by previous guys managing our server, and we needed to add more space and installed 3 more disks of the same size.

After that in MaxView Storage Manager we ran "expand logical device", went thru the steps and added two more disks to the existing ones.

The process of reconfiguration is done, no errors in events, and in controller overview it does show increased size.

But the RAID6B (the one that we expanded) now shows 2 segments are missing and says raid is degraded. Two disks that were added (slots 5 and 6) are still in Ready status.

I've attached screenshots to better illustrate the situation.

Seeking for options of what can be done to resolve the situation. If more info needed please request.

Expanding parity arrays is just asking for problems, especially if the drives are older. If you can read the logical drive and the data is intact, back it up any way you can, multiple times. From there, you might find that's it's much easier rebuilding the array from scratch.

Now, if you are just going to roll the dice, you will need to find the options for associating the new drives to the logical array. It looks like you expanded the array, but the association was not made. Also, make sure that the controller and software allow for parity array expansion. Sometimes they aren't able to handle anything more complex that RAID 0/1/10.
