created a blog to publish benchmarks using raid0 velociraptors

i used a gigabyte x38dq6
the os is windows server 2008 on a raptor connected thru a sil 3132 on the second pciex16 slot.

later on i could post more benchmarks using a dedicated controller on the second pcie x16 slot

i am waiting for your comments
i want feedback on my methodology of testing. any suggestions on the setup are also welcome. either here on anandtech forum or on the blog

I'd like to see a Summary of Results and a comparison to a single drive vs. dual drives in RAID 0 on the SIL3132 RAID system.

i have a 3132 pcie controller x1. i currently have it attached to an raptor 74adfd on the second pcie x16 slot. i use it as the boot drive and i take the measurments on the empty raid0 array. unfortunately it is not as fast as the ich9r. one "official" measurments after i finnish with the ich9r. thank you.

I'm ready to see some results of the v-raptors.... I cheaped out and stuck with my raptor but too cheap to buy another. So I'm doing raid -o with some 7200.10's to see how they stack against my raptor. Currently my Raptor by itself hits about 90MB/s and bursts to 130MB/s.

check the blog i cannot upload the screenshots in a forum article. i will publish raid0 benchmarks using 4 old 74adfd raptors on the ich9r and the nvidia 780i platforms
