I'm going to be upgrading my gaming computer and was wondering if I should get the KT-7 RAID or just the KT-7. Will RAID interfere if I don't use it, will it be harder to set up my computer with it? I'm not sure if I would use it. Also is it worth the extra 16 bucks?

Go for the Raid, it has support for Ata 100 and up to 8 Eide for future expansion. I had the KT7 and RMAd it for the Raid.
Just make sure you put your hardrive on the Raid controller Eide 3 or 4 and get the latest Beta UZ103b1 bios and the Hotpoint 103b drivers to match the UZ103b1 bios, they are found At Abits Tiwan Ftp sight.

I was warned that the high point controllers were a problem, and to stay away from RAID,if you aren't goin to use all those drives,why risk it.You can run extra drives without it anyway.DECISIONS....DECISIONS
