RAID... worth it?

When I get my new computer (2x 160gig Samsung SATA harddrives) should I even bother throwing them in a RAID?

If so, what type?

Basically I'll be using it for gaming, 3D rendering, and compiling stuff.

Not really worth it. Youll see some gains and whatnot but mostly it is bragging rights.
