Raid suggestions needed

I work in a multimedia production environment and basically we are looking for some new external raid devices. Our budget to spend on the raid is between $10,000 and $12,000. Really not looking to go above 12 grand since our purchase dept will flip 🙂

Here are the limitations
Has to work with SGI/Irix systems. We are getting some new SGI Tezro's and thats why we need the raids.

As much space as possible. 5 TB would be great. We eat space like mad

As fast as possible....probably scsi interface although the tezros do have a fibre connection I believe.

Thats about all I can think of right now. If you need more info I would be happy to provide it. I just figure someone on AT has experience buying these things. I don't buy many 10 grand raids in my daily life though hehe. Thanks in advance.
 
Thanks for the reply. But 800 gigs would last us about a week lol. We do dvd authoring. I have a 1 TB raid and within 3 months its down to 100 gig or so hehe. Don't worry about the price so much. Like I said we are more than prepared to spend 10 grand 🙂 Thanks again
