Please excuse me because I really am a newbie to this aspect...

I have an abit kt7a and i recently bought a second drive identical to my first and i would like them to be in a RAID 0 configuration.
So I put them in the same RAID IDE channel but im still hesitating to continue and configure it all on the RAID bios because...
Does RAID need the entire space of both drives? After assigning them to their respective RAID configuration, can I still partition the drives?
 
yes...you can still partition your hard drive....if you have 2 20gig HD's....your system will see it as 1 40 gig drive....and do as normal as you would do with any other drive.
