I am trying to install my first IDE RAID array and I'm running into several problems that are driving me crazy. First off, the stats: LSI LOGIC Megaraid 133-2, 2 120GB IBM hard drives (RAID 1), ABIT KT7A mobo, Athlon Tbird 1ghz 266FSB, Crucial 512MB PC133, Soundblaster Live Value.
I want to run the drives in a mirrored array and load Win2K on them. Win2K doesn't have a driver so I have to make a floppy and hit F6 to load the additional driver during setup. It reads it fine and seems to load, but after setup continues for a little while I get a BSOD with a bunch of error codes and must reboot. I don't know what else to do to load Windows. I tried taking the card and drives out and putting them in a different computer and they work fine, so it must be some compatibility problem but I have no idea what. Please help me with any possible ways to load Windows on the array. Thanks
P.S. I also tried XP and it did the same thing.

Just to ask here, does the system allow you to load an OS onto this same hardware WITHOUT the RAID array, or is it limited to while you have the array?

I just tried installing it w/o the RAID card, just using each of the hard drives by themselves and I get the same bsod, so I am really confused. I put the hd in another computer and windows loaded fine, so its not the drives. My only guess is that it's the motherboard? Any ideas? Thanks again.
