RAID run with 2 diferent HD?

I'm buying a SA6R board and I have one maxtor diamond max plus 7200rpm ata66 30.7Gb drive. The new similar 30.7Gb 7200 ata100
of maxtor is cheap than mine. Then I think to buy this to make
a RAID0 system. It will work, or I need to have two exactly same
drives.
