RAID question

I posted this in GH, but then realized it may be better here... I'm planning on upgrading and a thought crossed my mind...

I've got an Abit KT7-RAID motherboard, with 2 raid-0 arrays setup on it.... If I upgrade, will the arrays still work with another controller (Promise, etc.. the kt7-raid has a highpoint controller on it)? or will I be SOL and have to re-create the arrays, starting from scratch?
