RAID question...?

RAID 0 would yield a single 90G drive but no redundancy

RAID 1 however would yield 45G but with full redundancy.
 
And with RAID0 [two drives, the more drives you add the faster it goes but increase gets less and less with each drive you add] you'll have between 40-80% faster disk read/write speeds depending on the controller and system.
