Raid question for GA-K8N Ultra-9 motherboard

Hi,

My current motherboard GA-K8N Ultra-9 has a SATA Controller: Silicon Image Sil3114, I would like to setup a RAID 5 configuration on my system but only if this is "hardware RAID".

Does anyone have any idea if having a (Controller: Silicon Image Sil3114) on motherboard indicates 'hardware raid'?
