RAID problems...

I purchased the ASUS K8NE Delux mother board, and a few 80 gig (Western Digital) SATA hard drives, with the plan to RAID 0 and RAID 5 them. Apparently the RAID 5 support doesnt exist outside of windows so I'm bailing on that, and just trying to hook up the 3rd hard drive as a back up drive. The problem is, I can't get windows to detect that back up drive. The RAID 0 is working just fine, but I'm not sure what's going on. This board has two controlers, the RAID 0 is on the silicon image controller, and i'm trying to hook up the back up on the nvidia controller. With no success. It's just not seeing it. And it'll hang sometimes when i'm booting up... It's a mess, please help
