I have this issue. I want to create RAID Strippe array on my K9N Platinium. It uses the nForce 570MCP built in controller. But when i create the array in the RAID utility, the option to make that array bootable is gray an not available. So the problem is i can not make the array bootable. The hard disks are 2 x Hitachi Desk Star 160Gb SATA2.
I updated the bios to v 1.3 but doesn't help.
Please help.

Meanwhile i found a solution to the problem. So it's like this: after creating the RAID array in MediaShield i returned to the BIOS. In Bootable devices the name of the RAID array appeared. When i selected the array as second boot device (my dvd+rw is the first), and windows installatin appeared i put the drivers from the floppy and BANG!!! That was it. So the thing was that in the MediaShield the "Bootable" option for the array is grey and not available because the array is made bootable in the BIOS an not in the MediaShield utility. So that was it.
