RAID Motherboard?

I'm looking for a motherboard to run Adobe premiere and other heavy 3d apps. Am I better to go with RAID? Can someone recommend a good motherboard (P4 or AMD ?)

Well If it were my money, and I needed a new system asap, I'd get either the EPoX 87HA+ or ASUS A7V266-E, and slap on an Adaptec 29160 and a 10k rpm SCSI drive from seagate or the atlas. Or... if you can wait a little, wait until nForce mobos start appearing and then check out their reviews.
