RAID Migration from nForce4 to AMD 780G

I currently run RAID 1 on an Asus M2NPV-VM (nForce4) motherboard, but I would like to upgrade to an AMD 780G board soon (perhaps the Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-SH2).

So, does anyone know how easy I will have it in trying to migrate my current RAID setup to the new board? I imagine I can't just plug-and-play my setup, but will I have to completely re-initialize one of the drives or what headaches will I encounter?

But since this seems like a potentially common and logical upgrade path, I'm wondering if anyone has specific experience with this type of migration; I can't seem to find any recent (since the AMD 780G) RAID migration articles on the Web just yet.
