Raid issue with Abit KN8 mobo

I have onboard Raid enabled, I set the array (Striping) and set it to boot. Whenever I try to install Windows, I load the driver on the supplied Raid floppy but Windows keeps saying it does not detect any HDD. I'm trying to load it on Windows XP Pro. I even tried the 2003 drivers and it still would not work. The array reads as functional.

I KNOW these drives work, as I used to have them both on a Promise Raid card in a striping configuration and it worked just fine. Any ideas?

I also tried different SATA channels. 1 & 3, 1 & 2, 3 & 4. Also tried using mirroring instead of striping. Tried the drivers on Abit's website.

hey man i just installed nvraid drivers this weekend and got alittle caught up at the same point, but here is the trick. unlike the promise raid driver, you have to install both the raid driver AND the nv ATA driver during the windows install. you can press "S" twice to specify two drivers they should both be on your raid install disk.
