Raid is it worth it?

I curently have and IDE ata 100 set up and I only use my puter for gaming and surfing.

would there be a tangable differnce switching to a raid set up? Maybe load games faster start them faster dunno what the benifets would be.

If you know of any links to reviews comaring the two pls post.

Also if it is the better rout do both HD's need to be identical?

No. Alot more complexity and risk for very little benefit.

If you like tinkering with your PC then go for it.

If you do photo/video editing or work with large data bases then it can be quicker.

For your uses dont go near it.
