Raid Hardware

The quality of raid hardware is directly dependent on how much money your gonna spend on it...
If you are asking about IDE raid then... the lower end only supports raid 0 and 1.. some do 0+1 im not sure which one does.... adaptec has a higher end IDE raid card than can do raid 5 i think...
SCSI raid is normally better since the drives are normally better/faster/bigger channel bandwidth (160MB/s)... but much more expensive... the card and the drives... you have to be more specific in what you are looking for... also your budget... you probably should read up on it a bit.. there are plenty of articles available around...
