I need a reccomendation for a good Raid card. It needs to be PCI and support ATA100. Which one is the best? What one do you reccomend?

I will be putting two WD 60.0gb hard drives on this. Thanks.

I would look at a promise fastrak 100tx2. promise designs have always worked well for me and have good driver support.

I personally like the Iwill SIDE RAID100 card. It's a little bit cheaper (if you shop around), and works quite well.

Promise FastTrak, FastTrak TX2, FastTrak TX4 - All are very good. The TX4 supports eight drives.
IWILL SideRAID and the ABIT RAID card are also quite good, but I personally go with Promise.
Aside from these simple cards, there are more advanced cards from other manufacturers (ex. Adaptec), which have on-card memory and some other advanced features. These cards are much more expensive and won't give you any benefits unless you're into heavy video production or something. The regular FastTrak and the TX2 are the cards to go with IMO.

I'm using the 3ware 6200 card, and it's great. It only supports two disks in ATA66 mode, but it's pretty cheap and performs great.

The ATA66 will not be the bottleneck. If you want to spend more money, you can get the 3ware 7400. It supports four harddisks in ATA100 mode.

You can check out storagereview for reviews of these cards as well as other ATA RAID cards.
