RAID BIOS Setup Not Updating

Hello. I just bought an acard AEC 6880 RAID controller (PCI) and hooked it up to two 300gb WD drives (Master 1 and Master 2). I enter the RAID BIOS, and set up the drives as RAID 0, and hit escape to exit and save. When the PC restarts, it shows that there are no arrays set up.

I am running a Windows XP machine. The HDDs appear as OK drives in the RAID BIOS.

I have tried every combination of key presses, updated the drivers, even tried the Windows GUI Utility to set it up (it will say "Bad Stripe" when I do this). Is this a possible problem with the card, the HDDs, compatability, or something else? Has anyone ever run into a similar issue? Thanks.
