RAID Array From OS X Server to Lion

My MacMini Server died and I had an external 2-drive enclosure setup in RAID1. I want to rescue my files from the enclosure. Im guessing I can plug the enclosure into my iMac but what will I need to do to deal with likely permission issues?

For those who may be curious it was a simple matter of plugging it into my desktop and adding my user account as read/write and that was it. All my files are still intact which is a good thing.
