raid and multi-boot sysytem

I currently tri boot Win98SE, Linux, and BeOS. I am considering a raid setup, and I would like to know if there are any special considerations if I want to quad-boot Win2k, Win98SE, Linux, and BeOS pro. I am considering either a IDE raid 0 or 0+1 with IBM 15gig drives.

Any insights would be much appreciated.

Thanks Suo,

It seems to me I read something about it, but I couldn't remember. I guess I am better off not trying the raid (just yet).

If you are building a new system, it's the best time to try RAID. I certainly wouldn't tear down a working system to try it, though.

I am basically building a new system. Only going to reuse a few parts. See my post in GH for more details.

I might consider trying it, when you said you hadn't heard of any successes, does that mean you haven't heard of anything, or you have heard of failures before?

One last question. Do I need to purchase a full version of win2k pro or will an upgrade version work for my quad boot?

SUOrangeman is correct, I believe you could run redhat, but promise doesn't offer drivers for any of the other flavors of linux. I was never able to get beos to work with my raid card.
