I'm debating between:

6 300GB 10K RPM SAS drives and 6 250 GB 7.2k SATA drives.

what do you think the performance difference would be between them?

btw, this is for a front end webserver running sharepoint.
 
I would say the 6x 300GB SAS drives will do you much better than the 6x 250GB SATA drives by a mile. Lower latency and faster read/write access will help a lot more than cheap drives.
