RAID 5 drivers won't start, AOpen n250a-fr mb, Si3114 controller

I've been trying for 2 weeks to get the RAID 5 drivers for my n250a-fr AOpen motherboard running. No matter what I do they fail every time (1.1.0.0 or 1.2.0.0 drivers- "The device cannot start (code 10)", and they take out my soundcard drivers too :Q
The 1.0.0.7 drivers run but they don't support raid 5.

Has anybody had any joy getting the 3114 raid 5 drivers running?

I'm trying to do raid 5 because i want lots of redundant storage space (and bought 4x200gb disks) but reading other threads on this site it seems its not as safe as I think it is? Maybe I should do raid 10?

Please help

thanks
