Raid 5 32 bit to 64 bit question

My current setup:

Drive 1: 150 Gig - XP OS
Drive 2: 80 Gig - Scratch Disk (photoshop)
Drive 3,4,5: 500 gig each, 931 gig Raid 5

I am thinking on using my Raid 5 drives for my scratch disk and installing Windows 7 64 bit on the 80 gig drive. My question is, will the raid system files be erased because I am going from 32 bit to 64 bit? Is there anything I need to watch out for. I have backed up the files to an external drive already. Just trying to understand what I am about to do. 🙂

My plan is to go into bios, select the drive it boots from, and install the win 7 then. That way I can boot from xp or win 7? If I boot from win 7, will the info on my xp drive be accessible?

THanks,

Jimmy
