Raid 1?

With hardware. There are hacks that enable you to use redundant levels of RAID in non-Server editions of Windows, but I wouldn't trust them and you never know when a patch from MS will undo the hack and leave you without access to your volume.
 
You can find IDE controllers that will do hardware mirroring, I havn't personally done it but I know that Promise and Adaptec make some.

All you really need is a controller and 2 identical drives. But you must realize that a mirror is not a replacement for backups, it's only a failsafe in case one of the drives dies.
 
Yeah, if you mess up your software yourself, you're still screwed. 🙂

Most of the newer motherboards have onboard SATA Raid, some have PATA Raid too.
