Whenever I defragment my RAID-1 array (Intel 875P chipset) using XP's own utility, it seems to freeze. It doesn't give me any error message, but it basically gets to a certain point where it never seems to progress further. This usually happens fairly early in the process.
Someone told me I should run a consistency check on the RAID container. How do I do this?
I'm running Intel Application Accelerator RAID Edition, but I don't see any consistency check options in it. Any ideas?
